Bertrand Blier
(Boulogne-Billancourt, 1939) debuted in 1963 with the short film La grimace and the documentary Hitler – Never Heard of Him, which won the Silver Leopard at Locarno. He made his first feature film, If I Were a Spy, in 1967. Ten years later he won the Best Foreign Film Oscar for Get Out Your Handkerchiefs. He won five Césars and the Cannes Jury Grand Prize for Too Beautiful for You.
