SCOUTING FOR TALENT ON THE CROISETTE

Submissions are still being accepted through July 10 for Venice Days 2009 (September 3-12). The Venice Days staff will be in Cannes for the duration of the festival to meet filmmakers, partners and industry professionals and to scout out new talent for the sixth edition of the independent sidebar of the Venice Film Festival.
Accompanying Delegate General Giorgio Gosetti at Cannes will be Sylvain Auzou (Vice-Director), Gaia Furrer (Head of Programming); Giovanni Marco Piemontese, (Head of International Relations), Renata Santoro (Head of Communication) and Simonetta Pacifico (Head of Logistics and Secretariat).
Cannes marks the most intense phase of our committee’s selection process, the deadline for which is July 10, 2009.
