synopsis
Director Erik Gandini lives in Sweden but was born and raised in Italy. With Videocracy he returns to his homeland to recount from the inside the consequences of a television experiment to which Italian have been subjected for 30 years. He gains exclusive access to power circles, to reveal an important story of the frightful reality of television in Italy, a country in which the move from showgirl to Equal Opportunity Minister is only natural.
