Adrian Sitaru I think I have always been interested in human behavior and relationships. Unlike other species, we have an absurd and self-destructive kind of behavior. What is its evolutionary meaning for our species? From this point of view, it seems to me that we are the only species that can destroy itself with pleasure. I never think about writing stories about Romania as an end in itself. They take place in my country because I know it very well, but I’d like to believe that my stories are adaptable for any place.
