Camille d’Arcimoles
Camille d’Arcimoles was born in Cannes in 1974.
Her first short, Le sens de la visite, was shoot in the year of her school leaving certificate.
In 1996, she leaves for New-York where she studies cinema at New York Univerity.
In 1998, she works as director's assistant on the set of Once We Were Strangers by Emanuele Crialese in New York, shooting also two documentaries together with Angelo Loy about directing and producing this independent movie.
In 2000 she collaborates in the filmmaking of Grazia’s Island (Respiro). Before devoting herself completely to be a director, for some years Camille has also worked as set decorator and production designer.
In 2005 Camille has started the principal shooting of Che Saccio on The Golden Door (Nuovomondo).
