synopsis
Isora and Chiara are activists working for others; Gianluca passionately recounts the problems and the toil of those who work on lands confiscated by the mafia; Donatella undergoes personal and professional growth. Nuns embrace the cause of Indian women and their social emancipation, Caritas volunteers present cases of desperation and newly found dignity thanks to contributions from Coop, books and grocery bags that are sent from supermarkets to the houses of the elderly who live alone and in difficulty. Along with super-controlled fish, “ethical” tomatoes and “rediscovered” cheeses.
This cinematic journey recounts the most important chain of distribution in Italy – a series of companies that do not distribute their useful resources to just the fortunate few but set it aside and invest in development and employment.
