Gianni Zanasi
Born in 1965. He Studied philosophy at the university of Bologna. He attended the Direction Course at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. His debut short film Le belle prove, was awarded at the Torino Film Festival. Two years later he put together the same cast for his first feature film, Nella mischia, which was part of the official selection in the Directors Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and won numerous prizes in various festivals around the world. Afterward he directed almost simultaneously Fuori di me and A domani, in the official selection in Venice in 1999.
