The period spent in Cannes this year turned out to be particularly interesting for Venice Days.
Meetings with professionals, moviemakers, producers and distributors went on one after the other in the space of Giornate office at the Hotel Hilton Palais Stéphanie on the famous Croisette.
A great number of films seen and contacts established, thanks also to the growing popularity of the independent Venetian festival, at its fourth edition, and to the success of its movies selected all over the world.
Monday night, May 21, the traditional annual party has taken place; the General Delegate Fabio Ferzetti and his staff have welcomed friends and colleagues in an informal and easy atmosphere.
It represented for most of them a moment of happy relax, with music, food and music, very unusual in Cannes, where parties are normally crowded and very noisy.
Among other guests, maestro Abbas Kiarostami.
