100 + 1 A HUNDRED FILMS AND ONE COUNTRY, ITALY

Following the success registered last year in Venice of the Manifesto launched by Venice Days in support not only of Cinema but of the whole Italian culture, we are working to transforming the initiative from being a public opinion campaign into a concrete project: changing the way Italian cinema is defended and can circulate as patrimony of Italy’s collective identity.
Thanks to the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture and Cinecittà Holding, a commission of experts is at work to define a list of the (first) 100 Films.
