UNDER THE BOMBS: A SUCCESSFUL PREMIERE IN ROME

Saturday, April 19, Under the bombs, directed by Philippe Aractingi had its premiere in the framework of the festival The French Cinema Spring, which take place in Rome. The film will open on the Italian screens on April 30 released by Fandango.
The screening has been followed by an extremely animated and somewhat moving Q&A with the director. Aractingi himself afterwards sent an e-mail to the Venice Days director, stating that: Saturday's Q&A was one of the most beautiful one I had.
Under the Bombs had its world premiere last September in Venice, selected by Venice Days – Giornate degli Autori,greatly appreciated by both the audience and the critics and obtaining two of the collateral prizes of the Mostra: Arca Cinema Giovani Award: Best Film “Other Visions” and the Eiuc Human Rights Film Award.
Under the Bombs has also won several awards in different International festivals; among others: Jury Junior Prize at Namur Film Festival, Critics Prize and NETPAC Prize NETPAC at Antalya Film Festival, the Gold Muhr and the Best Actress Award (Nada Abou Farhat) at Dubai Film Festival, Prix Coup de Coeur, Best Music Award and Audience Award at Luchon International Film and TV Festival.
