ALL THE PRIZES 2006 TO THE FILMS OF GIORNATE DEGLI AUTORI - VENICE DAYS
19/09/2006
Further to the Luigi De Laurentiis Prize, the Lion of the Future, awarded once again to a movie of Venice Days (Khadak by Brosens and Woodworth), with a special mention to 7 Ans by Jean-Pascal Hattu, and further to the Label that the Jury of Europa Cinemas has assigned this year to Azul Oscuro Casi Negro (DarkBlueAlmostBlack) by Daniel Sŕnchez-Arčvalo, two more pretigious prizes have been won by the films selected this year.

Offscreen by Christoffer Boe won the Prize Arca Cinemagiovani - Best Movie "Other Visions”, an official collateral prize of the 63° Mostra Internazionale d’arte cinematografica of Venice.
The Jury Arca Cinemagiovani is organised by Arca-Enel and is composed by 100 young people aged between 18 and 25, from France, Canada, Poland, Hungary and Italy.

Azul Oscuro Casi Negro (DarkBlueAlmostBlack) by Daniel Sŕnchez Arčvalo won also the prize UAAR – Unione degli Atei e degli Agnostici Razionalisti (www.uaar.it)
This prize has a great symbolic value and it is also beautiful. It is, in fact, a gold sphere containing a cloudy amount of golden wires and coloured glass pearls (a tribute to Venice and to the plurality of thought), realised by maestro Giovanni Corvaja.
