GINO STRADA TAKES PART IN THE TRIBUTE PAID TO CHRISTOPHE DE PONFILLY

Gino Strada, the medical doctor and founder of Emergency, the most important Non-profit Organisation which has been working in Afghanistan for years now, has introduced L’étoile du soldat in Sala Perla, joining the moved audience and showing his personal appreciation for Christophe de Ponfilly.
The tribute paid to the great documentary film-maker has thus been an opportunity to remind everybody of Afghanistan, a country that has deeply suffered years of wars and invasions, whose population is too often represented through simplistic stereotypes by the press and the media.
After the screening, Gino Strada has followed the film delegation to the Venice Days Villa.
