Nicola Guarneri
Nicola Guarneri was born in Tuscany. He has worked as a light designer for theatrical and dance performances. She began to work for cinema in the late 1990s.
Since 2000 she has lived in New York, where she works as gaffer in independent cinema.
The initial question that got us going was: why aren’t Petri’s films available. Why does this filmmaker, who intelligently depicted man’s condition in the 1960s and 1970s and who has had his share of awards and recognitions, as well as criticism and slandering – seem to have disappeared from that collective memory which has become Italian cinema.
