WANG Ming-tai Ming-Tai Wang earned his degree at the Taipei National University of the Arts, majoring in Film Direction. He was assistant to the director TSAI Ming-Liang for the films The River (1996) and What time is it there? (2001). In 2001 he debuted as film director with Brave 20.
In the day time, Alan works as a parking guy at a hotel. In the night time, he shares a room that the hotel offers with his colleague. Although the environment is so shabby, he never moves to live with Angel. Nevertheless, he can’t help himself thinking of Angel after every night’s drink. And then he shows up at Angel’s, searching for contemporary physical comfort that Angel can bring. They are just like that: so deep in love with each other but never know how to love. Therefore, they indulge themselves with endless torture and pain. (WANG Ming-Tai)
